I had come accross the following entry in my notes on the 22 March 2020. Living through the Pandemic was hard.
The constant news articles streaming through the number of dead on a daily basis makes one realise that the sun, ocean and stars are even more beautiful than they were the day before. Though I live in a part of the world with relatively low population the effects of the Covid-19 are still felt here. For now the warm weather keeps things in perspective and provides hope that may it’s not as bad as we think it is. However, one can’t block out the constant news cycle that is forced upon through our mobile phones.
We had planned to start an adventure of some sort in the coming year or two but now that seems like an unknown memory. Isolate indoors is what we are told. Keep people 2 metres away from you. Borders closed. Yes ok we won’t be going anywhere.
